Club Rip Curl, Powered by Antavo, Is Now Live
December 1, 2022
Surfwear brand Rip Curl has launched a brand-new membership program, powered by Antavo Enterprise Loyalty Cloud. Members of Club Rip Curl can earn points for valuable actions like shopping, surfing, and filling out their customer profiles.
Surfwear designer, manufacturer and retailer Rip Curl has introduced their new rewards program, Club Rip Curl. The program has a points-based structure, allowing members to earn 100 points for every dollar spent online or in stores in Australia and New Zealand. Members will also soon be able to earn points for leaving product reviews and achieve a 10,000-point bonus when they add additional information about preferences to their customer profile. These features allow the surfwear and accessories brand to build trust, better understand their customers, and ensure their communications and offers are well-targeted and relevant.
“It’s incredible to have a brand like Rip Curl among our retail clientele. Antavo really got its start in the retail space, plus serving a company that’s so firmly built around a lifestyle community is really where we excel. There is so much Rip Curl is now able to do to create brand love and engagement in their new loyalty program, Club Rip Curl.” – Attila Kecsmar, CEO and Co-founder of Antavo.
Club Rip Curl is a membership program built around passion and inclusivity, inviting members to make their membership “official” by joining the rewards program.
Rip Curl, as a brand, already connects with its customers through surfing, whether shoppers consider it a hobby, sport, or lifestyle. To make this connection even more solid, Club Rip Curl members will soon be able to earn points by enjoying their favorite sport: surfing. This will be made possible thanks to a connection between Rip Curl’s Search GPS watch technology and the Antavo Enterprise Loyalty Cloud.
Members will be able to use their membership cards directly on their phone, which is a convenient way to carry their loyalty identification. Members will also have access to exclusive benefits like surf lessons.
“Rip Curl has been successful because of the passion for the Search, our driving force to truly live the spirit of surfing. This is a passion we share with our customers, who already are a part of our tribe. Introducing Club Rip Curl, as a membership program, is making the relationship official, and we’re so excited about being able to reward customers for what they love doing best – getting out and enjoying the waves.” – Michael Scott, Chief Customer Officer at Rip Curl.
