Yara Strengthens Loyalty Program with Antavo’s Technology

The world’s leading crop nutrition company Yara has rebuilt its Yara Premium loyalty program with the help of Antavo Loyalty Cloud. The result is a reward program that includes receipt scanning and relevant experiences.
Headquartered in Oslo, Norway, Yara is the world’s leading crop nutrition company. Their loyalty program was originally launched in 2016 and was introduced across multiple countries. However, over the years, the legacy system became outdated.
In search of the best loyalty technology, Yara signed with Antavo Loyalty Cloud and entered the partnership with a clear vision: In addition to evolving their technology stack, Yara was looking for a loyalty program that could build on positive word-of-mouth to attract new customers, harness data to better understand their core audience’s needs, and help re-engage dormant or churning buyers.

The new Yara Premium Program is a multi-country program that has been designed for farmers who use Yara products as a way to thank them for trusting them and using Yara products.
Farmers can earn points for scanning an invoice received for purchasing Yara products from Yara distributors and retailers. Yara uses Klippa receipt scanning tool, (one of Antavo’s partners) to enable this.
Over and above the transactional activities, farmers are also rewarded for completing their profile survey, completing challenges, newsletter sign-ups, and referring a friend. Yara also ensures to make members feel special on their program anniversary and birthdays by rewarding them with extra points.
Farmers can then utilize the points to buy reward gifts from an online catalog that hosts wide product categories to suit everyone’s needs and requirements. They will also benefit from exclusive advantages and tailored support.

The revival of Yara Premium involved an extended collaboration with other loyalty industry players. For example, the reward fulfillment is handled by Antavo’s Carlton One, the receipt scanning is done by Klippa, while Acxiom was contracted as the system integrator — all of whom are partners of Antavo.
