Antavo Delivers App-based Logistics Loyalty Program With GLS Hungary

GLS Hungary, a leading logistics provider, has partnered with Antavo to launch the new, and rapidly expanding, app-based GLS VIP loyalty program. The initiative rewards parcel activity, driving higher engagement, repeat usage, and stronger customer retention in the parcel delivery sector.

At the core of the program is a simple yet powerful mechanic: every parcel sent or received through the GLS Hungary app earns users a “virtual parcel,” which determines their tier status across a 12-month cycle. New services – including returns – will soon be added to the list of action, for which app users can earn virtual parcels.

Members progress through three tiers: Plus, Extra, and Premium (with an exciting high-level tier coming soon), unlocking increasingly valuable benefits, designed and structured to drive both short-term activation and long-term loyalty:

  1. One-time discount for parcel shipping: At opt-in (10%) and tier upgrades (15-20%).
  2. Permanent 5% discount for parcel sending for Premium tier: Applicable to every parcel shipped as long as they are Premium tier members.
  3. Partner discounts: Continuously refreshed tier-based webshop offers with partners, for example, coupons for online stores like Szerszamoutlet.hu, Anybody.hu, Vadalarm.hu.
  4. Gamification element: App users get access to spin the Wheel of Fortune after every 5 parcels shipped (except for the 10th and 20th parcels, which come with tier status upgrades).

By adding a milestone-based challenge (with a visible progress bar in the user dashboard in-app), GLS constantly incentivizes engagement and user activity. Gamification – powered by Antavo’s Challenges and Prize Wheel modules – plays a key role in it, rewarding users with delightful surprise benefits. In parallel, partner offers with webshop discounts add ongoing value, ensuring the program remains fresh and relevant.
