Integrations with Email Service Providers

Introduction

Email marketing automation providers and loyalty programs are a natural fit for each other. In addition to capturing valuable customer data, loyalty programs provide more touchpoints that help you improve your email campaigns, giving you more content to share and the ability to create a more personalized experience, thereby improving the effectiveness of your emails.

Selecting your provider

Browse all available integrations on the Modules page of the Loyalty Management Platform. The integrations are listed at the bottom of the page. Enabled integrations can be set up by selecting the corresponding Open button. To make an integration available, you can notify the Antavo team by using the Request a Demo button, or contact your Onboarding Manager.

Emarsys integration

Our integration with Emarsys allows you to synchronize customer data between Antavo and Emarsys, make customer segments of Emarsys available in Antavo, or trigger Emarsys functions.

Setting up

To set up the integration, you’ll need to supply an Emarsys API username and password, which can be retrieved from the Security settings of Emarsys, once logged in.

Customer synchronization

Once the connection is set up, selecting Emarsys from the list of integrations allows you to select the customer data to be synchronized from Antavo to Emarsys. Fields available in Antavo and Emarsys can be selected, and once saved, data from Antavo is sent to Emarsys to update contact data. The list of contact fields is recovered from your Emarsys account.

Selecting the ‘Add new loyalty field’ button lets you set a new pairing of fields in the two systems.

Once a field pairing is created it can only be reset after it has been deleted, which can be done by selecting the trashcan icon.

Segment synchronization

Synchronizing segments from Emarsys allows you to use Emarsys segments in Antavo, populated with loyalty customers.

This can be done by selecting the ‘Import segments’ button in the top-right corner of the Customer Insights page. The system presents you with a list of segments in Emarsys. Once a segment is selected, contact synchronization begins. The segment will be populated with contacts who are also loyalty customers. As this is a lengthy process, the platform notifies you when segment synchronization is complete.

Following sync, the segment will work like any other in Antavo, and you’ll be able to select the segment from the Emarsys section of the segment list in Customer Insights.

External events

The External events tab is where you can select Emarsys External events and decide which customer action should trigger the event. The list of Emarsys events is compiled from events available in your Emarsys account.

Bronto integration

Our integration with Bronto allows you to synchronize customer data between Antavo and Bronto and trigger Bronto functions.

Setting up

Set up the Bronto integration by inserting the Bronto API token, which can be retrieved from Bronto’s API settings.

Customer synchronization

Once the connection is set up, selecting the Bronto from the list of integrations allows you to select the customer data that is to be synchronized from Antavo to Bronto. Fields available in Antavo and Bronto can be selected, and once saved, data from Antavo is sent to Bronto to update contact data. The list of contact fields is obtained from your Bronto account.

Select the External events field to choose a Bronto External event and decide which customer action should trigger that event. The list of Bronto events is compiled from events available in your Bronto account.

MailChimp integration

Our integration with Mailchimp allows you to synchronize customer data between Antavo and Mailchimp, so your data can be used for Mailchimp emails.

Setting up

Setup of the Mailchimp integration requires inserting your Mailchimp API key which can be retrieved from the account settings area in Mailchimp, under Extras.

Once the connection is set up, selecting Mailchimp from the list of integrations allows you to select customer data that is to be synchronized from Antavo to Mailchimp. Fields available in Antavo and Mailchimp can be selected, and once saved, data from Antavo will be sent to Mailchimp to update contact data. The list of contact fields is obtained from your Mailchimp account.

Pure360 integration

Our integration with Pure360 allows you to synchronize customer data between Antavo and Pure360, so data can be used for Pure emails.

Setting up

The Pure360 integration requires that you provide your Pure360 username and password.

Your Pure360 username and password are the same as the details that you use to log on to Pure360.

Once the connection is set up, selecting Pure360 from the list of integrations allows you to select customer data that is to be synchronized from Antavo to Pure. Fields available in Antavo and Mailchimp can be selected, and once saved, data from Antavo is sent to Pure to update the contact data. The list of contact fields is obtained from your Pure account.

Dotmailer integration

Our integration with Dotmailer allows you to synchronize customer data between Antavo and Dotmailer, allowing you to use loyalty customer data in Dotmailer mails.

Setting up

To set up the Dotmailer integration you’ll need your Dotmailer API username and password, retrievable from your Dotmailer account under the API users tab.

Once the connection is set up, selecting Dotmailer from the list of integrations allows you to select customer data that is to be synchronized from Antavo to Dotmailer. Fields available in Antavo and Dotmailer can be selected, and once saved, data from Antavo is sent to Dotmailer to update contact data. The list of contact fields is recovered from your Dotmailer account.

Responsys integration

Our integration with Responsys allows you to synchronize customer data between Antavo and Emarsys, make customer segments of Responsys available in Antavo, or trigger Responsys functions.

Setting up

Setting up the Responsys integration can be done by adding your Responsys username and password, the same username and password you use to log into Responsys with.

Once the connection is set up, selecting Responsys from the list of integrations allows you to select customer data that is to be synchronized from Antavo to Responsys. Fields available in Antavo and Responsys can be selected, and once saved, data from Antavo is sent to Responsys to update contact data. The list of contact fields is obtained from your Responsys account.

Sailthru integration

Our integration with Sailthru allows you to synchronize customer data between Antavo and Sailthru.

Setting up

Set up the Sailthru integration using your Sailthru API key and secret, which you can retrieve from your Sailthru account under API & Postbacks in the Setup menu.

Customer synchronization

Once the connection is set up, selecting Sailthru from the list of integrations allows you to select the customer data that is to be synchronized from Antavo to Sailthru.  Once fields available in Antavo and Sailthru are selected and saved, contact data from Antavo is updated in Sailthru. The list of contact fields is obtained from your Sailthru account.
